Our Team

C. Paul Oberg, a Certified Management Consultant, earned a BSIE from Northeastern University and an MBA from Providence College. Prior to co-founding both EPAC Software Technologies and The Copley Consulting Group, Paul held previous positions in industry as COO, Senior VP of Operations and Engineering Manager as well as Managing Director and Managing Principal for international consulting firms.

Paul has extensive experience in the areas of operational and productivity improvement, strategic planning, business planning, software development and design, enterprise asset management, financial management and business assessments. His professional affiliations include Industry Advisory Board (Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Engineering) for the College of Engineering Northeastern University, Director of RI Chapter ISE, Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ocean State, APICS, Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals and Institute of Management Consultants.

Robert Lane served as the former co-founder and CEO of The Copley Consulting Group, a systems integration firm serving manufacturing, distribution and services industries. The Copley Consulting Group was acquired by an international management consulting firm.  He is a former Senior Consultant with KPMG where he helped lead the Management Consulting Practice in New England. 

Mr. Lane was a founder and board member of EPAC Software Technologies, an Enterprise Asset Management software company, also acquired.

Bob is, and has been a board member of several charitable organizations focused on the arts, child safety and mentorship, and elderly services. He is a proud graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst.
